Wesley Foundation Drinking Game
It seems to be a net tradition to create a drinking game for
any cultural activity that has distincitve patterns and that a community
holds dear. In that tradition of reverence, this is a drinking
game (please use the quite sweet iced tea provided) of items often
noticed or overheard during seminars and Sunday Celebration at the
Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech.
Suggestions for additions are cordially
invited.
Take a sip of tea whenever...
- a seminar is plugged in the middle of a talk about something else
- you are cordially invited to an event
- you are asked to stand up based on your membership is a particular
set
- a story or illustration is given a number (take two sips if the number
is a variation of pi)
- a comment is made about the whistle blowing
- someone makes a bad pun
Take a sip of tea whenever you hear...
- "so be it"
- "financial undergirding"
- "good, gooey, gluey, glowy"
- "naughty, bad, evil, wicked"
- "do you sense anyone approaching the building for whom we should
wait?"
- "comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable"
- "there's a place for honesty, even in the church"
- "I'll bet you a steak dinner, and I'll take mine medium with
mushrooms"
- "sometimes you have good ideas, and sometimes...."
- "Freud would have a field day"
