How can I patch my in kernel PCMCIA orinoco drivers so that I may change my MAC address/enter MonMode? (and use kismet, airsnort and the like...)

# Get the new kernel source

cd /usr/src/
wget http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.4/linux-2.4.20.tar.gz

# Untar it
tar -xvzf linux-2.4.20.tar.gz

wget http://airsnort.shmoo.com/orinoco-0.11b-patch.diff
cd /usr/src/linux-2.4.20/drivers/net/wireless/
patch < /usr/src/orinoco-0.11b-patch.diff
